Our current study/discussion series has wrapped up. Stay tuned for our next offering, probably starting around Pentecost 2021. If you have particular topics in which you are interested, we're always interested to hear what those might be. Get in touch here.
Wednesday Noon Study
All through Lent we'll be sharing a weekly discussion of the Living Compass "Living Well Through Lent" booklet. This will be a time to reflect together on the daily essays in that booklet, the questions posed there, or on the scripture passages that prompt the essays. Rev. Catharine, Deacon Susan, and Rev. Robin from St James' will facilitate the hour-long discussions each Wednesday in Lent at 12 noon. Copies of the booklet will be distributed to all parishioners along with other Lenten items. You can download the booklet for free from Living Compass.
Our Wednesday Noon Study is a time of small-group learning, discussion, and reflection. We often join forces with St James', Indian Head to offer 4- to 8-weeks series in which we discuss books or films, study the Bible or church history, or explore other topics through the lens of faith.
Recently we have read a book about Ida B Wells, watched a film series on the legacy of St Francis, and studied the Advent lessons from Isaiah and Luke. All are welcome to join.
