Order of the Daughters of the King (DOK)
Stewardship is how we use the time, talent, and treasure that God has entrusted to us.
Durham Parish hosts the Queen Anne Chapter of the Order of the Daughters of The King (DOK). The DOK is a national association of lay women in the Episcopal Church.
The Altar Guild of Durham Parish is responsible for setting up the altar for services and maintaining the linens and vessels that are used for the Eucharist. The work of the Altar Guild is usually behind the scenes with much of the activity in the Sacristy.
The Treasurer is appointed by the Vestry and handles the bookkeeping and check-writing for the parish.
We are a parish that loves to sing. Our accomplished organist plays our pipe-organ and directs our choir.

The Cemetery Committee handles burials in the Cemetery and the maintenance and upkeep of the property.

Each week we have flowers on the altar through the talents of the month's Flower Coordinator. Often a parish household will make a donation to dedicate the flowers in memory or in thanksgiving for a special event.
The Vestry is the elected leadership of the parish. They look after the parish's property and interests, and help to guide the parish.

The Finance Committee is responsible for overseeing the Church's money. Church funds, whether in a local account, CD, or investment account are monitored by the Finance Committee.
